AZCSN Conference- Developing an Internal Training Program

Provide internal training to develop the knowledge and skills of your security team. Developing in-house training is cost effective and very easy to do. This is a step by step program that any team can operate and AZCSN.com is going to help. We'll discuss insight and ideas of how to set up your own training program, where to find resources, and how to manage different aspects of team meetings. This is the first time a class like this has never been offered anywhere that we're aware of as it takes away the need for expensive third party training.

Presented by Phil Pinkus

Author of, “Wise as Serpents Gentle as Doves, Insight, Ideas, and Discussion About How to Start or Improve a Church Security Team (Amazon 2018). Served as State Security Officer (SSO) for Christian Emergency Network (CEN) 2017, Committee Chair of “Coalition Development” for the Faith Based Security Network (FBSN) 2018-2019 and has served AZCSN as the Metro Phoenix Director 2018 to present. Currently serving as the Volunteer Security/EMS Team Coordinator at Church For The Nations (CFTN) – Phoenix, Global 365, and David Herzog Ministries. I helped organize and coordinated security teams for Pastor David Herzog at the Awaken 2020 event at Sun Devil Stadium. I also co-ordinate security for Sean Feucht of Bethel, and his Let Us Pray events in Arizona and serve on the Phoenix Police Chief’s Faith Based Advisory Board.

My church security experience includes working with small, medium, and large churches. I am aware of the challenges each church faces recruiting, retaining, training, and operating a security team. AZCSN and its mission is important to me, and I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the Network because there was a time when I was looking for team coordination information and training for my team and couldn’t find much help.
